Its been a busy start to 2010, which has seen me perform some marathon 7 hour sets at the My Bar Sunday Sessions. I recently enjoyed playing a Saturday night set at My Bar for one of the most up-for-it crowds I’ve seen in a while. Last weekend I DJ’d a private event in Blenheim for an awesome bunch of people.

We are producing a Masquerade party called “Masquerave”. The date is set for December 5th, and we are delighted with the level of interest. I have put together a 60 minute promo mix for the Masquerave. This represents the range of house tunes that I’ll be playing. This is a multi-genre event, so there will also be sets of Psy-Trance and Hard Dance. Later in the evening I’ll be playing a Hard House set, which will be accompanied by a Live Lead Guitar. We tried this out at an event this weekend with pleasing results.

I came back on later in the night to play a hard-house set back-to-back with another one of my training DJs, eDestiny. The energy from the dance-floor and general feeling in the place was uplifting and positive. All the funds from this event went to support the White Elephant Trust, which promotes events and activities for the “all-age” market in Christchurch city.
Here are both of the sets I played. The second one is hard-house, so is not the usual style for this site. But I thought I’d put it up, nonetheless.
