NaJ has released another mix in his “Powerful House” series. DJs are more than just players of music. DJs search for sounds that have meaning for them, and in doing so they develop their own sound. The “Audio Dreams” project is making good progress. We have settled on a date for the event. It will happen on July 1st. The venue will be Level 5 of the Hallenstein’s building in the center of Christchurch City. Its a great location with lots of windows that look out onto the street below. There is even a small balcony area.
The party is called “Enter the dream” as it is the first “Audio Dreams” event. I’m DJ’ing the first couple of hours of House, before the party transitions to hardhouse/trance. Our plan is for people to be taken on a musical journey, which starts with vocal house and progresses through a range of genres to finish with some harder dance sounds.
I’ll continue to post updates on “Enter the Dream”. In the meantime, here is a mix set I just did for 88.7 PulzarFM. Enjoy…
