Planning for the next Audiodreams night is well underway. This time we are returning to Level 5, which I think is one of the best venues in Christchurch. DJ’s include Tobiaz, therobsta, Luna, Seb Wild, Firefly, Fiend, and myself. Due to the high demand, this time we are only selling tickets–no door sales. This seems the best way to ensure we do not have a line of disappointed people waiting outside.

I put together this set to give away at Audiodreams. The first 100 people will receive a free double CD set, which will contain a high quality version of this mix and a Trance set from Luna. Our most recent Audiodreams was a great success with a couple of hundred party goers dancing and enjoying the multi-genre experience until 3am. We had a nice range of DJs playing a range of genres from House, Electro House, through to Hard dance, DnB, and Hardcore. The progression was very good. Plans are well underway for our next big event on September 8th.

This set starts with some nice disco-house (it actually begins with quite a classic disco track) and progresses to a harder feel quite rapidly. Around half way through the mood becomes more electro orientated. As with all DJ sets, the song progression reflects my mood and represents my choice of music.

You’ll enjoy these sets–lots of nice funky disco house, sweet vocals, creative basslines and nice instrumentation. In part 2 you get treated to some really nice electro, the type of sound that is compelling and addictive. When I listen to this music I realize again why I like house, and why house has such a lasting appeal. It’s all about house!
